It reminds me how my London Jewish family celebrates Christmas day with a slap-up feast - goose/stewed apples/roast potatoes etc. I love this recipe because I am more of a fish than meat girl, so it's right down my street. The credit crunch means more people eating at home than eating-out - so your blog is perfectly in tune with these tough times. Ha ha!
